Healthcare Insolvency |

Beginning with the representation of the State Court Receiver for Monsour Medical Center, Campbell & Levine has become familiar with the issues and problems presented in insolvencies related to healthcare providers. Working in concert with the national law firm of Jones Day, Campbell & Levine represented the Creditors' Committee of Allegheny Health Education and Research Foundation (AHERF), the parent of major hospital systems in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, in what at the time was the largest bankruptcy ever filed for a non-profit system of hospitals. The firm has represented Logan General Hospital, in the Southern District of West Virginia, in a Chapter 11 which will both pay creditors in full and result in the funding of a charitable foundation. |
