Sara Davis Buss recognized for work with Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA (April 7, 2017) – Campbell & Levine Partner Sara Davis Buss will be recognized for her leadership in non-profit governance at the 2017 National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Three Rivers Chapter, Director of the Year awards program.
Buss is being honored for her work as Chair of the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh’s Board of Directors. She was nominated by Kristin Brown, Development Director, Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.
Buss will be recognized with the award for leadership in non-profit governance. The award is given to an independent sitting director recognized by his or her peers for outstanding community leadership through service on a non-profit board. This individual’s leadership has also helped guide one or more non-profit organizations in, for example, expand or substantially improve service to stakeholders, improve financial viability or manage a crisis or other major change effectively.
The NACD holds these awards to celebrate and honor some of the most engaged corporate directors—boardroom leaders in the profit and non-profit sectors, within the NACD Three Rivers Chapter footprint — Buffalo, New York; Cincinnati & Cleveland, Ohio; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The awards program will be held on Thursday, May 18 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.
